Introduction
Tesfin Capital is an upstart company that meets the needs of clients in Mergers and Acquisitions, fund raising and Private Equity. Our aim is to assist, grow, sustain and fund companies as well as supporting local economies. We are registered in the United Kingdom.
Tesfin was formed in July 2022 to offer professional services in fundraising, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions. We specialise in project financing across Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond.
Some of our financial partners have been in business of lending since the 1980s. Funding is organised through our strategic investor partners and their proxies in North America, Europe, Australia and other parts of the world. Once a project meets the requirements of our preliminary due diligence, we submit it for a further review and then possible funding.
We strive to identify value creating, innovative, sustainable projects, with the potential to transform societies, create employment and support the respective local economies. Channeling capital to people and entities with the ability to make a difference is of utmost importance in our business.
Our History
Founders
Eli Theodore Dhoro
Eli holds a degree in Accounting from the Midlands State University, a Master’s degree in Finance. He also holds a certificate in equities and trading from the Canadian Securities Institute. His experience ranges from working in banking, the tobacco industry and the hospitality sector.
Nigel Tinashe Mutonhori
Nigel holds a degree in Accounting from the Midlands State University and an ACCA finalist specializing in advanced financial management and advanced audit and assurance, he is also a finalist with the Chartered institute of securities and investments (CISI). His experience is in banking (transaction processing), tax planning, financial reporting and consultancy.
Strategic Partner
Randy Glen
Randy Glen attended the University of British Columbia (Canada). He has extensive experience as a business executive and entrepreneur being the CEO and owner of NumaWorks Inc from 2006 to 2018. He is currently the principal and managing partner of AltaPete Capital Partners a Canadian-based Finance intermediary firm solving funding gaps in private Capital markets. He is also passionate about philanthropy and aiding communities that are malnourished in Africa. He brings his wealth of experience to the Tesfin Capital team.
